By popular demand, the best of the Alumni Tailgate and the Gala have been combined for a Saturday evening event celebrating the local food movement. The landscape architecture profession is uniquely positioned to redirect land use and plants to meet consumer demand for healthier, sustainably produced food. Organized by Nat Bradford, ASLA, a landscape architect working at the forefront of the Farm-to-Table movement, the event will feature celebrity chefs and a menu they’ve created just for the landscape architecture profession using healthy, locally sourced, and heirloom foods:
Chef Jennifer Jasinski
Owner and Executive Chef of Denver’s Rioja, Bistro Vendȯme, Euclid Hall Bar + Kitchen, and Stoic & Genuine; winner of the James Beard Foundation “Best Chef Southwest” award; and finalist on Bravo’s Top Chef Master’s Season 5.
Chef Cade Nagy
Owner and Executive Chef of Catering by Design; 2014 recipient of the International Caterers Association (IAC) “Caterer of the Year” award; and 2013 recipient of the IAC “Chef of the Year” award.
Chef-Farmer Matthew Raiford
